Windows Build Issues

  • Hello,

I recently did a re-install of HaxeFlixel and related tools. Everything went smoothly, however when compiling a debug build for Windows (using HaxeDevelop), I get the following error:
cmd: "C:\HaxeToolkit\haxe/haxelib" run lime build "Project.xml" windows -debug -Dfdb
Error: Source path "C:\HaxeToolkit\haxe\lib\hxcpp/3,4,185/bin/Windows/std.dll" does not exist
    Build halted with errors.

This only occurs when building for Windows. Here's the output of a "haxelib list":
    flixel-addons: [2.5.0]
    flixel-demos: [2.4.2]
    flixel-templates: [2.4.4]
    flixel-tools: [1.4.1]
    flixel-ui: [2.2.0]
    flixel: [4.3.0]
    haxelib: [3.3.0]
    hxcpp: [3.4.185]
    lime-samples: [4.0.1]
    lime: [2.9.1] 5.4.0
    openfl: [3.6.1]

Perhaps I missed a step somewhere, but I can't find any documentation on this error. Any ideas?

This is an issue with the latest hxcpp release and OpenFL, see also: http://community.openfl.org/t/issues-compiling-to-c/9522

For now, downgrade to the previous release with:

    haxelib set hxcpp 3.4.64

  • This worked, thank you!
