Fixing your problems in HaxeFlixel



  • I have now asked a number of questions on this forum and the guys that have responded have been brilliant. Not sure of these guys work on the HaxeFlixel team or not, but they seem to know their stuff.
    I have been a programmer of over 20 years now, but I am fairly new to Haxe / Haxeflixel, but my question is where are they getting their information from?
    Every time I scan google I only find part answers, but the guys who respond know so much more, but I am finding it hard to find any definite manual info. I have tried to understand the API section of the site and It confuses the hell out of me. Am I that stupid? well maybe!

    It would be great if someone did a proper manual with quick examples showing how the syntax is used. I guess I have been spoilt with other languages that have full books.

    I don't know whether I am the only one having this problem. I feel bad that I have to keep asking how to do stuff that I feel I should be looking up myself.

    I am currently writing a game full time, so will have to keep asking the guys for the answers. So let me say thanks to all the answers to my questions past and Future.

    Usually, most of the engine devs will reply questions, the info they have got is great! But they are super busy working on HaxeFlixel, so people should check this other links first:

  • Yes, please check out the HaxeFlixel Mechanics site, take a look around, and if there are things you want to see on there, make an Issue in the repo!
