Way to change just the velocity and position calculation on FlxObject?



  • I'm currently making a game that models an object with varying acceleration. Specifically I'm making a racing game that applies centripetal acceleration to the car when turning. However, it appears that FlxObject only works for constant acceleration. So my question is, is there a way to change just the velocity and position calculation on a FlxObject, while keeping the collision detection and other stuff? Or will I have to create a whole new framework for what I want to do? Thanks.
